    With extensive product knowledge and a BFA in Interior Design, Sarah is an extremely talented and valuable designer at Community Home Supply. Sarah’s clients have been so impressed that they have written rave reviews about her excellent suggestions, budget savviness and overall pleasant nature during kitchen and bath remodeling projects. Sarah’s favorite designs gravitate toward contemporary lines but she also loves the warmth that more traditional elements can bring to a space. Sarah encourages her clients to allow her to include a favorite souvenir, photograph or family heirloom in each project. Her desire to connect her work to the client allows each design to be unique and personal. Sarah’s focus is always on customer service, which keeps her clients coming back year after year.

    In her spare time, Sarah finds true joy in the kitchen. In fact, she is an avid collector of cooking literature and exotic spices. Her love of food includes canning fresh fruits and vegetables for future dishes. Her many dinner guests would agree that Sarah truly enjoys every aspect of cooking.

  • Shannon Schnauss

    With a BFA in Interior Design from the University of Central Missouri, and more than 15 years in the kitchen and bath design industry, Shannon has proved to be a welcome addition to the Community Home Supply family. Shannon has already received accolades online from happy customers. Clients praise his organizational and design talents, as well as his unrelenting patience throughout projects. Remodeling can be stressful but with a partner like Shannon, you can rest assured that you will be thrilled with the smooth process and final results. Shannon loves all design styles including traditional, transitional and contemporary.

    Outside of Community Home Supply, Shannon’s hobbies include art, architecture, history, running, reading and traveling.

  • Jim Laxner

    Jim has an extensive background in kitchen, bath, plumbing and carpentry, and his 25 years in the business serve him and his clients well with achieving results. Whether you are looking at a large project that needs extensive behind-the-wall plumbing or need suggestions on how to improve a simple bathroom, Jim has the experience to save you money and time. Jim feels it’s important to understand your ultimate goals with regard to functionality and style while helping you determine the best manufacturer to achieve your ultimate style. Community Home Supply feels lucky to have such a valuable resource in Jim.

    When you don’t see Jim at Community you might find him playing guitar, golfing or simply catching up on his favorite TV show, Breaking Bad.

    With a unique combination of experiences, Becky is an expert at replicating high-end looks from design magazines while taking into account a more modest budget. Her work on design programs with HGTV over the years has served her well by honing her skills for designing on a budget. Becky’s favorite projects involve overcoming design challenges such as small space, small budget or style conflicts between partners! Becky keeps her ideas fresh by perusing Dwell and House Beautiful magazines for contemporary and modern inspirations. Community Home Supply is happy to have an exceptional designer like Becky on the team.

    Becky is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the Harrington Institute of Design. In her spare time, she enjoys running, gardening and hanging out with her Cairn terrier, Dottie.

  • Danny Boanca

    With 21 years of experience in the bathroom industry, Danny is a true professional. Whether you have a huge master suite, commercial bathroom or a small powder room, Danny is the bathroom project expert. Customers appreciate his ability to recommend the latest manufacturers to address space or budget challenges, plus his fluency in Romanian has proven to be very helpful! With his extensive experience in bathroom remodeling projects, there isn’t a challenge he hasn’t already conquered. We are proud to have Danny on our design team and know that he will provide our customers with the best design ideas and solutions for any project - large or small.

    In his spare time, Danny enjoys contemporary design, music, sports and hanging out with his kids.

  • Amy Sicheneder

    Amy is our Senior Design Consultant and Showroom Manager at our Community II location. Amy is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Interior Design and Marketing and has over 9 years in the kitchen and bath industry. Amy's clients can't say enough about her uncanny ability to make the impossible possible. If you are looking to work with a true professional who knows how to stay on budget, create beautiful designs, and do it all with an amazing "get it done" attitude, then Amy is your designer.

    In her spare time Amy, is a state and nationally ranked amateur pool player, who's game, stretches from Illinois, Iowa and Indiana, all the way to Las Vegas, Nevada.
